Trekvio exists to make the world's trails easier to find, safer to follow, and more rewarding to share. We believe that time outside changes people for the better, and we want to put more of it within reach.

Our story

Trekvio started with a simple frustration: too many incredible trails were hidden in scattered guidebooks, local forums, and the memories of people who had hiked them once. The information existed, but it wasn't reaching the next traveller who needed it.

We set out to build a single, community-powered home for the world's outdoor routes. A place where a beginner could find a safe loop near home, and a backcountry skier could plan a multi-day traverse with confidence, all in the same app.

Today, Trekvio is built around three commitments. To the community of contributors whose knowledge makes the platform possible. To safety, because better information in the field saves lives. And to environmental responsibility, because the places we love depend on us looking after them.
